Holiday Home Kruitenberg

We spent four days here with our family over Easter weekend and had a fantastic time. The house was clean and pleasant, with everything we needed. The beds were made up beautifully and were very comfortable, so we all slept well. It’s an easy walk into town, which made it simple to head out and explore Bruges each day. We were also greeted warmly with a lovely gift and personal note when we arrived, a really nice touch.

De Kruitenberg is a lovely old house right in central Bruges, and most sights are an easy walk away. There’s a supermarket for everyday groceries and an affordable parking garage less than five minutes on foot. Inside, it’s tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is well equipped. We felt very welcome, thanks in part to our hostess Katrien Wemaere, who was always available and quick to answer questions. There are three bedrooms with good beds, two on the first floor and one on the second, plus two bathrooms and two toilets. One bathroom and toilet are on the ground floor; the other bathroom is on the second floor, and the second toilet is on the first floor, handy at night. The stairs to both upper floors are quite steep, especially the stairs to the second. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s useful to know if you have mobility difficulties.
