The location is amazing, the building is lovely, and the service was great. With some renovation, this place could easily be five stars. We were on the top floor, where the wood floors were unfinished and very uneven; one of our kids got a splinter. There was a lot of water damage and mold spots on the ceilings. Our stay was only a couple of days, but I’d have been concerned if we’d stayed longer. The shower had a few moldy spots too. Some light switches needed several presses to work, which was a bit scary, and the bathroom light flickered badly.

The location is really convenient, with lots of sights, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Our room was spacious and comfortable, just as it looked in the pictures. Still, it could use a mini-fridge and a locker, and a proper shower instead of just a bathtub. We had trouble getting into the building because there was no reception or anyone there. They later said they’d emailed the instructions, but I never received them.

We stayed in the blue room on the first floor. It was spacious and comfortable, with big windows and a lovely garden view. The place feels like an old mansion, is very clean, and is only a five-minute walk to the market and two minutes from restaurants. The train station is about a 20-minute walk, while everything else is within five minutes. Breakfast was simple but filling. Just be careful with the door knobs 😊 Thank you.

The apartment is stunning and really central, and we absolutely loved our stay. A very friendly man recommended places for us to visit. We’d definitely come back.

A lovely stay, with clean, comfortable rooms and a very friendly host. Breakfast was delicious, and the centre of Bruges is very close.
