The guesthouse had some initial charm, particularly around the lobby. There’s a little self-service drinks area with an honesty box, which is a nice idea. Reception closes at 2:00 pm, but the entry code for later arrivals worked fine. We were disappointed by the stay overall. The rooms are furnished very simply, and the doors don’t shut properly, so sound carries between rooms and from the corridor. We visited in winter and found our room unheated when we arrived. It was very cold and uncomfortable, and we didn’t feel well during the stay. There’s parking in a small garage box about a five-minute walk away, for €17 a night. It only fits small cars. Parking and tourist tax have to be paid in cash at checkout. The invoice issue was one of the worst parts. We were told we’d get an invoice during our stay, but none was issued after we left, despite several requests. That felt very unprofessional. We can only hope the tourist tax, VAT and profit taxes are paid to the public authorities, though the situation didn’t give us much confidence. We tried to focus on what was good, but the lack of comfort, poor sound insulation, cold room in winter and unanswered invoice requests left us with a negative impression. Update: Thanks for responding to our review. Since then, we’ve received only a partial invoice for the stay. Replies to our emails have been selective. We’ve asked several times for a complete invoice including the parking fee, but those messages have gone unanswered. Without an itemized parking charge, our own internal accounting is affected, since we need a complete and accurate invoice for our records. The continued lack of response still feels unprofessional and hasn’t addressed our concerns about the accuracy and transparency of the billing and administrative process.

We booked two nights, 25/12-27/12, and told the owners we’d arrive at 15:00. They said they would send an entry code and parking instructions. We found the parking spot and arrived at 15:15, but no code or instructions ever came. On Christmas Day, after driving for three hours, we spent hours waiting in the cold at -1. We called several times, texted and left voicemails, but heard nothing. Eventually we felt the owners had scammed us, since they already had our money and never showed up. We found somewhere else to stay, but this has been our worst holiday experience so far. Don’t trust them.

We had a really lovely stay in a great spot. Omar sent us a Google Maps document of sights to see, and the recommendations were plentiful and very helpful. Everything went smoothly, and the parking was covered and in a safe location. We’d definitely stay again.

A gorgeous apartment in a wonderful area, and we had an incredible stay. It felt like a home away from home. If you’re in Brugge, you should stay here!

Maybe the best accommodation I've ever visited. We were a family of four, and the location was incredible. The room was beautiful, huge and clean, and the employee was amazing. I highly recommend it.
