We slept well on the comfortable mattress, and the rooms were charming, clean, and nicely furnished. The hotel is right in the centre, close to everything in Bruges. The rain shower in the carriage room was a lovely extra.

A good place for a few nights in Bruges. The high ceilings make the rooms feel roomy, and the air conditioning was great. It’s always been very quiet when we stayed. The beds are huge, though a bit hard, and we found the pillows uncomfortable.

This is a beautiful family-run hotel, a few minutes’ walk from the main square and from a bus stop serving the train station. Breakfast was great and had enough to satisfy North American or British travellers. The rooms are well kept and spacious by European standards. I’d happily stay again and recommend it, though the mattress was quite hard, perhaps new, and the shower was very small. That’s why I’ve given the room four stars.

We booked a standard room and had plenty of space, with a large comfortable bed and lovely details throughout. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the location is unbeatable, right in the middle of the city and a 5-10 minute walk from most places. The front desk was very helpful. There are two lovely little rooms in the lobby where you can sit and relax, plus a stunning courtyard with a big tree. It was a bit too cold for us to spend time outside, but I can imagine it being a lovely place to unwind in warmer weather. The main gates close at 8pm on weeknights and 10pm on weekends, so contact the staff if you plan to check in later. It’s a beautiful hotel and amazing value. Can’t recommend it enough.
