Downtown Brussels Studio

The front terrace is shady, and the interior is big enough for crowds. I've been here lots of times, but today's bartender was the worst I've encountered here. He served an Aperol sprits from a bottle. The owner used to be friendly, but now he's changed his tune.

Good beer selection and a nice bar. They have happy hour deals, so check when they're running. It's generally from 12 noon to midnight. One thing to know, you can't pay by card unless your order is over €5.

If I'd used the restroom before ordering, I wouldn't have had a drink here. There was absolutely no soap, not even an empty dispenser, and I checked the men's room too. No hand sanitizer either. If customers can't wash their hands, I doubt the employees can. My husband thought it was gross but didn't see it as a big deal. He had a draft beer; I ordered a mojito, so someone handled the straw, chopped mint, and squeezed the lime with dirty hands.

Georgi and Arton were the best. They were quick and friendly, and even let my friend and me pick the music. We already miss the staff at Downtown Brussels!
