We really liked the hotel, the room, the food, and the service. The room just wasn’t heated well enough. It would be nice to have proper heaters in both the rooms and the restaurant.

Our family of eight was given four rooms close together, which made a nice private little corner for us. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and the staff were extremely courteous and helped with whatever they could. We also enjoyed the food. It felt happy and welcoming throughout.

The rooms have large room heaters and water heaters, and the hotel offers good amenities for moderate rates. The staff are very courteous, though room service can be delayed on busy nights when the hotel is full. The food was very expensive and spicy.

We visited at the end of Oct-18. The hotel is about 10 min from mail Clock Tower from Thimphu, which wasn’t a problem for us. The property is new, with great food and nice service. We had four rooms next to each other, giving us an excellent private corner.

The hotel is a new property and the staff were courteous, but I wouldn’t recommend it to friends or family. We stayed in Nov'18, and the bathroom setup in the standard rooms needs a rethink. The shower area is tiny, about 2ft x 5ft, so your elbows hit the walls, and water splashes into the W.C. The washbasin area is much larger and would make more sense swapped with the shower. There were drain flies in the W.C., which made the bathroom feel dirty even though it looked clean. We booked two rooms, and the water heater in one did not work. The room heaters were inefficient too, you had to sit right beside one to get warm. Cleaning was slow: the third bed wasn’t made, the extra bedding left in a big bundle in the morning was still untouched when we got back at night, and the dustbin wasn’t emptied despite our request. There was only one bin in the room and none in the bathroom. Tea and coffee sachets were provided only once a day, with extra ones charged separately, something I haven’t experienced in all the hotels I’ve stayed in. The place seemed clean, but I’m unsure about the hygiene. My son, my niece, and I all got sick with vomiting and loose motions. The staff were polite, though they all seemed to be in their early twenties, and I didn’t see anyone older or more experienced to guide them.
