The rooftop dining room is a highlight, with wide views over Thimpu. The rooms are beautifully furnished and have all the amenities, and the staff were kind, attentive, and accommodating throughout.

Even about 7 years later, I can still remember our time at this resort. My children loved the food and ambience, and the resort has a wonderful Bhutanese feel. All the staff were very focused on service.

The rooms and surroundings at Jambayang Resort are clean and hygienic, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent, both Bhutanese and continental. As a tour operator, I’ve kept bringing my guests here from the beginning until the resort closed for now because of the pandemic. They’re mostly American, German, Taiwanese, Indian, and other nationalities.

The restaurant staff were helpful and the room service was on point. I liked the rooms in particular, since they were a good size. It’s a cozy, nice place, and I’d recommend staying here when visiting Thimphu.
