James and Theresa are the cherry on top at The Buffaloberry Bed and Breakfast. They know the area so well and gave us great ideas for hiking, biking, and other things to do. Thanks to them, we’ve returned four times, and every visit has been a joy. We especially love the Wheat and Chafe room upstairs, while my sister-in-law prefers the Rabbit Street room on the first floor. The first-floor rooms have easy, private access to a lovely patio. The shared living space is cozy, and the rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and different each day. Some of our best meals were here, even with all the great dining options in Banff. It’s the only place I’d consider staying there. We’ll be back!

The couple running this B&B are lovely, and the breakfasts were filling and excellent. If you’re looking for one of the best, this is the place.

The price really isn’t justified. There’s no insulation in the walls, so we couldn’t sleep with the neighbors banging on them. With heated floors and no AC, the room was like a sauna. We were so tired that we skipped breakfast and just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Stay away.
