Miracle Motel

I was moved to another room, but the first one I was given clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There were stained sheets and hair left by a previous guest, which made me very uncomfortable. I also had to leave early because work ended sooner than expected, and the owner confronted me and asked me not to leave a bad review. That felt inappropriate. A very unpleasant, unprofessional experience.

The room was spotless when I arrived, with fresh linens and a well-kept bathroom. Housekeeping cleaned it daily and kept the necessary amenities stocked. I felt comfortable and safe, and cleanliness was clearly taken seriously. The staff were consistently courteous and ready to help with questions or requests, including local recommendations. Check-in was smooth, and I was greeted with warm smiles. I had a pleasant stay thanks to the welcoming staff and clean motel, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place.

The bathroom was clean and fine for the night, and the sheets were clean and smelled nice. The motel is slightly updated and fairly clean, better than some I’ve seen. There was good Wi-Fi, but no garbage bin in the room apart from the one in the bathroom, and there were no lamps like the picture showed. The owner/front desk person wasn’t especially friendly or welcoming. It worked well for my one-night stay, and I’d recommend it for a night, maybe two if needed. It’s 10-15 mins from the main town and its restaurants.

The Manager’s House was crawling with cockroaches, they were everywhere. My girlfriend and I went inside after I’d been quoted 650$ plus daily room cleaning for one of its three huge bedrooms. The manager had moved to an outside room, number 2, and now I understand why. I also learned why another woman left right after paying 1000 for a month in the Manager’s House. The manager told me not to talk to her, but I did, and there’s more than cockroaches going on there. Stay away from this cockroach motel.
