Continental Inn & Suites

I’ve been coming to the Continental Restaurant for years and still miss the old buffet. Lunch was good on Thursday, with the food and service as usual. But when I came back Friday, they charged extra for a lemon wedge, a pack of honey, and a pop refill. Nobody mentioned the charges until we asked about the bill. Guess it’s time to find another place.

The room was uncomfortable, with the heat locked so I couldn’t adjust it and no window to open for fresh air. At the desk, the young man was on his phone, and I waited five minutes before he looked up. He handed me the key without saying where the parking or elevators were. I won’t stay here again.

The office staff were understanding, and I felt safe with the security and trusted the cleaning crew. The restaurant was fantastic too. Everyone has gone above and beyond. Ask and you shall receive, basically. I’ll be back after I leave. Thank you.

The rate suits me compared with other hotels that have a jacuzzi room within easy reach of the bed. If you book one, ask for a room without the connecting door to the next room, the Jack and Jill setup, I think. I’m likely to use a bedroom jacuzzi with my partner, and things could get a bit rambunctious, giving the neighbors more information than they need. Decent place overall.
