I don't usually write reviews, but I even made a Gmail account to explain how awful my one night here was. The room was worn down, with dents, nicks, and holes, and the couch had noticeable stains. The bed was uncomfortable, and housekeeping had missed hairs in both the bed and the visibly dirty bathtub. The tub jets didn't work either. There was only half a roll of toilet paper, a small thing that still showed a lack of attention. I called the front desk to ask for an HDMI cord to connect my laptop to the TV. I was told no, then, after I asked them to double-check, the staff member sighed audibly and said he'd look and get back to me. He never did, and the exchange felt dismissive. Loud banging in the hallway and the next room went on throughout the night, so I had trouble sleeping. I know noise isn't always fully in the hotel's control, but with everything else it made the stay frustrating. The property felt poorly maintained, and the cleanliness and service weren't up to standard. I wouldn't stay again.

Our room had been cancelled, according to Vikram, because they couldn't reach us and had contacted hotels.com to say it was a no go. We ended up paying more than expected for another room. When we arrived, the person at the desk, Vikram, was rude for no reason and didn't even say hello. The new, more expensive room smelled strongly of smoke, even though the facility is supposed to be 100% smoke free. The hot tub was full of scum and dirt, and the toilet kept trying to fill with a constant noise. There was dried snot on the toilet seat lid, too. The sheets and room hadn't been cleaned properly, and it felt like nobody cared about guests. I've waited a while to review this, but this place is a dump with extremely rude and lazy staff. I would never recommend it. NEVER STAY HERE.

My trip started as an emergency, with a lot of challenges, but meeting Sanjeev at the MCI @ Edwards Blvd made it bearable. I felt so welcomed by strangers that I was overwhelmed. Even after I checked out and missed my flight, they still welcomed and accommodated me when I had card issues. The food was delicious, and the continental breakfast was healthy. Protein costs an additional $8.00, which is very reasonable. Monte Carlo Airport Inn is my go-to and my recommendation for a visit to Canada.

The missing blackout curtains meant privacy was limited. You could potentially make eye contact with someone on the street while in your underwear, which fit the general feeling that guests weren't cared about. The place seems old and tired, like it's given up and only wants your money. If you want to relax, avoid it, or stay home and use your own bathtub and better glasses instead of dealing with a plastic baby pool in the living room. My partner and I booked a "Jacuzzi Room" on Dayuse.com for Valentine's Day, from 9 AM to 3:30 PM, hoping for a romantic daytime break with champagne and some luxury. We arrived at 11:30 AM, two and a half hours after our 9 AM booking, but the room still wasn't ready. We waited in a dirty lobby while housekeepers used the guest elevator to haul their things. After a long wait, the Duty Manager offered a 30-minute late checkout to make up for the two-and-a-half-hour delay. That felt ironic, and I wouldn't count on the extension. I called the Dayuse contact center in a panic, but the help was apathetic. They called me a "bugger" and hung up, a miserable end to that call. Once we finally got into the room, it was hilariously smaller than expected, like I'd booked the "Harry Potter under the stairs" suite. The online photos must have used a 1970s fisheye lens. The Jacuzzi was a big, ugly white plastic baby pool in the middle of the room, nothing like a romantic whirlpool for two. Climbing in felt like a cry for help. When we wanted water, the restaurant said they wouldn't send crockery to the room and that we'd have to come use glasses there. Fortunately, we didn't have to walk back and forth because the room had two disposable paper cups. They had the strength of napkins, a poor fit for sparkling wine and an insult that felt aimed at the homeless, and at us too.

The room looked beautiful, though the carpet had several stains and needs changing. The breakfast buffet was great, and I recommend it. I had a really good stay and would come back. The two gentlemen at the front desk were amazing, fixing a few hiccups with excellent customer service.
