Anne helped us discover Montreal’s hidden gems, mapping out convenient routes for each day and sharing great suggestions. Her place was close to all the amenities and attractions we wanted to visit, and she even made sure we had a safe, free parking spot on her street. It was our first vacation in Montreal, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. Anne was a warm, attentive, delightful host. The bedroom, living and dining spaces, kitchenette, and bathroom were all clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated.

Anne’s house is lovely and the rooms are very clean. She makes you feel at home with her warm, caring hospitality. She enthusiastically shared local restaurant and event ideas, along with tips on travel routes and finding good seats. Whether you’re visiting for work or fun, she’ll find something enjoyable for you to do. I highly recommend staying at Au GitAnn.

We were four people traveling from France in June, 2013, and were very happy with our clean, comfortable rooms. We also had a lovely dining room and kitchenette to ourselves, so we could make all our breakfasts and several other meals there. Anne went out of her way to arrange street parking, which was a relief after other big cities. We were guests, not paying customers, and it felt like a privilege to stay in her interesting home. Her knowledge of Montreal was as good as any guide’s. The neighborhood made it easy to explore, and we were out on the street less than an hour after arriving. We’ll send friends here, and hope to return ourselves one day.

Anne’s local knowledge came at just the right time in our honeymoon, when we were ready for some thoughtful guidance. Her charm and eagerness to help us make the most of our 3 days in Montreal won us over right away. As we explored more of the city, we also came to appreciate how central Au GitAnn Bed & Breakfast is. Anne pointed us toward places to go and times to visit, and helped us avoid some of the usual tourist areas. That let us find some of Montreal’s hidden gems. My wife and I are still raving about her.

Our hostess was wonderful. Each morning she sat with us at breakfast and helped plan the day, with maps and directions. We especially enjoyed Montreal’s Botanical Gardens. The B&B is in a lovely spot, close to several Metro stations, restaurants, and shopping areas, and we never used our car. Ann was enthusiastic about the activities she suggested, and we enjoyed the city even more for it. She’s rightly proud of the recently updated B&B. Our spacious, bright room had hardwood floors, a comfortable bed, private bath, and a very small deck.
