We had breakfast whenever we wanted, with a lovely view and a nicely set table. There was everything we could have wanted to eat. The hosts were so lovely, and we enjoyed chatting with them on the back deck before dinner. Our room had a small sitting area and was across from the large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, which we used. The old house has been modernized inside, and the setting is beautiful. A great escape from technology and everyday life, and we’ll definitely be back. They also have lavender and sunflower fields and beehives for making honey.

The rooms are spacious, with big windows to take in the views, and the house has been decorated beautifully. Massive maple trees surround this secluded country home, which has loads of character and feels truly unique. The Maples is hard to beat as a base for nearby ski hills or mountain biking and hiking trails.

Autumn’s rolling in, and I should be heading out. Thanks for such a pleasant stay, I’m grateful. The moon lights the way, but the rain brings a hint of pain along with it. Sound familiar?
