Janice, the owner and operator, was wonderful and accommodating. She made an excellent breakfast with lots of options, from fresh fruit and waffles to bacon and even Nutella, and was happy to handle special dietary requests. We felt pampered, especially with the chocolates, bath bomb, and other spa treats in the room. The room also had robes, luxurious linens, thick towels, and a big soaker tub. This is a lovely, clean traditional B&B, with other guests staying in the home too, so the atmosphere is welcoming, social, and homey. I loved the art. The backyard gardens and hot tub were inviting, and I could have watched the many kinds of birds for hours. We had a truly fun and relaxing stay, and were blown away by the experience and value.

Jane made us a wonderful breakfast every day, with everything we could want. We also enjoyed our morning conversations with her. She's well read and has lived in many parts of the world, while outside the window birds and squirrels hopped about. The house is easy to reach by car, parking is available, and it's very quiet. Rathtrevor Provincial Park by the sea is only a few minutes' walk away. It's a large detached house with two guest rooms upstairs, reached by a narrow staircase. Our room was small and nicely furnished, but short on storage. The bathroom had a toilet and bathtub, with shampoo and shower gel provided. Guests can use the ground-floor terrace with a hot tub, as well as lounge chairs in the garden.
