The mattresses were really comfortable, and the rooms are clean and thoughtfully laid out. I also like the picnic benches and flowers outside. This time our room was much nicer than I remembered from my previous stay, and it’s clear they keep working on the place. The owners are friendly and accommodating, so we’ll be back. You can hear traffic because it’s right on the highway, and the rooms aren’t especially soundproof.

The owner and family made us feel welcome. They were warm, honest, and caring, and we’d gladly stay again. Our spotless room had a very comfortable bed, and they upgraded us from a Queen to a Studio Queen at the same price. I’m so glad we found this place and highly recommend it.

The front desk staff stayed an extra hour to help us check in after we arrived past 10 PM, even though check-in was listed as 3 to 10 PM. He was welcoming, friendly, cooperative, and clearly good at hospitality. The property was spotless and well maintained, with a comfortable atmosphere that felt like home. Nothing major to complain about; the staff, cleanliness, and whole experience exceeded what we expected. I’d recommend it as a stop in Thunder Bay whether you’re heading east or west, and I’ll stay again on future trips.

I spent a month here for work and had no complaints. The price was reasonable, the room was clean and a good size, and it had a good shower and TV. It was cleaned regularly. The people managing the motel were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend this hidden gem.

Picking a place online when you’re travelling a long distance can be hard, but we found a gem here. It was welcoming, friendly, clean, and comfortable, and it’s very close to the highway. We stayed on our way to Calgary, then booked it again for the return trip. For us, it was five stars all around.
