The host was so kind, and the room was clean and quiet. It was affordable too. Great place, definitely recommend!

Gary, the staff member we met, was kind and accommodating. He met us at the door and showed us around. Our room was large and smelled and looked very clean. For the price, the location was decent enough. Sleep was the main problem. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and there were holes in the sheets. We got two throw blankets and no comforter. The walls and ceiling were paper thin. From the main floor we could hear footsteps, toilet flushes, doors, running water, and people talking, plus noises from the mini-fridge, washer and dryer, and parking area. The shower had no light, so it was very dark, and the water pressure was quite low. For what it costs, this is a little below average. If you stay, bring earplugs.

In such an expensive city, the reasonable price mattered most to me, and I was happy with the stay for what I paid. The room was surprisingly roomy and reasonably comfortable, with a fridge, microwave, and kettle. It’s a basic place, and the furniture is clearly old, but that’s understandable at this cost. Wi-Fi was excellent, and the shower in my room worked well. Laundry is available somewhere in the building for an extra fee. The location is pretty good, quiet but close to downtown, especially the Church Street area. There were little things, like a curtain that didn’t fit the window very well. To check in, you may need to call someone, though there’s a phone right beside the door.

For a downtown stay with a private room and bathroom, this was my best option. It’s not a fancy hotel, but I was impressed for the price. Everything was extremely clean, and the room had a mini-fridge, microwave, desk, and seating area. The owners were kind and accommodating. Even though I arrived late in the city, check-in and checkout went smoothly. I’m looking forward to coming back.
