A reasonably priced place to stay in the city, though it sits in a very sketchy part of Toronto. I've been a customer for at least 12 years. The name has changed and the rooms now have individual bathrooms, but it's much the same otherwise. My room could have been cleaner, with so much dust under the bed it looked like it hadn't been swept in months. Sometimes you wait several minutes for someone to greet you or let you into the building.

I left without staying because the room was nothing like the official website suggested. It was extremely cramped, barely fit the bed, and had a small, dirty, broken bathroom. The sheets were dusty and stained. The listing didn't say the kitchen and bathroom were shared with other guests. On arrival, the owner couldn't find my reservation and it was complicated to get in. They were rude and refused a refund, so I had to dispute the charge with my bank.

I stayed in Room5 on the second floor and had a great night's sleep. It was bright and clean, with two comfortable beds. The bathroom was modern and updated, and there was a large bottle of body wash in the room. It's close to everything, with a short walk to either the Queen St or Dundas streetcars. I'm staying there again in a couple of weeks.

The host canceled my room just two days before I arrived in Canada, even though I'd booked four months earlier and asked for confirmation two weeks before the trip. They said everything was fine then. After years of traveling, I've never encountered behavior this unprofessional. This shouldn't be considered a B&B. No more!

I travel to Toronto often for work and booked Park Inn months ahead through a third party site. When my train was delayed, I let them know I would arrive late. At first it seemed fine, and they gave me a code for entering the building. Then there was a problem charging my card. Rather than let me update the details through the booking agent's website or try the updated card again, they demanded an e-transfer for the room and a deposit. They then said it was too late to check in and canceled my reservation, leaving me without a place to stay. I had to book a much more expensive hotel. I found the whole thing unfair and very unprofessional, and wouldn't recommend staying here.
