The Delta District Stay

The pool and hot tub made the stay feel like a vacation and a real treat. The hotel has done a beautiful job bringing a historic building up to date while respecting its importance. It's elegant and upscale, from the gorgeous entrance to both beautiful lobby bars. The rooms are amazing, with cozy, very comfortable beds, big pillows, plush blankets, and a nice bathroom. The toiletries were great, and I loved that they included cotton swabs.

The concierge made our Toronto birthday trip extra memorable by sending a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates to the room. Parmeet, thank you, and apologies if I spelled your name wrong. We also got a free room upgrade and had a great view. The room was comfy, and the staff treated my short stay with the same care they'd give a week-long visit. I loved my stay.

My husband has some temporary mobility challenges, and the staff have been very attentive to his needs, making sure he's comfortable. Nobody in the bars, restaurants, or room staff has treated it as an inconvenience. They go the extra mile. Fairmont is our favourite chain, and Fairmont Royal York is our favourite hotel. Our stays are always exceptional, with a warm, welcoming, clean atmosphere from the moment staff greet us at the door. The teams at Clockwork, Library Bar, and Reign give incredible service, and the Gold Floor team is exceptional.

The lobby bar made for a nice visit. The mixologist was superb and got the drinks just right. They have wine and spirits, and you can order food too. Staff were welcoming and courteous. There was a mix of hotel guests and other people, and everyone was treated kindly. No one seemed rushed, including our small group. I'd recommend it for couples or groups, small or large.
