We stayed six nights and met people from all over. The view from our Blue room looked over the pool toward the St. Lawrence River. Between the two were beautiful flowers and a shady spot to sit, enjoy nature, and watch the ships go by. Each morning started with the smell of freshly baked croissants, bigger than my hand, plus a good range of jams, jellies, and marmalade. Breakfast was a delicious three courses, with juice, coffee, cappuccino, and tea. Yolande & Rene were very sweet and exactly what I pictured when I saw the house. My husband chose this place without any previous B&B experience, and he hit it out of the ballpark. The views were breathtaking, the service was wonderful, and the food was phenomenal.

We spent seven nights here, and the owners were sweet and super nice. The views were outstanding, and the pool and grounds were beautiful. There was fresh bread baking every day, along with wonderful food and coffee. I'd come back in a heartbeat, and can't wait to go again.

We found the rooms very clean, and the backyard by the beautiful river was awesome. The pool was clean and well maintained, too. The hosts were professional and very nice, sharing local maps, information about the area, things to do, and restaurant recommendations. Strongly recommend this place if you're visiting town.

We really enjoyed staying with Yolanda and Roiney. The house is filled with delightful art from the hosts' travels, and the place has a relaxed, cosmopolitan feel. Guests we met came from Quebec, France, and Italy. The setting is stunning, in a neighborhood with a mix of properties and lots of families. A nearby park has playing fields, playgrounds, and a splash pool full of kids, all beneath the dramatic Laviolette Bridge. HIGHLY recommended as a base for exploring this interesting, surprising part of Quebec.

I couldn't give five stars because Travelocity quoted one rate and I was charged about $20 more. I'm not sure where the discrepancy came from. Apart from that, the stay was excellent: the room was nice, breakfast was well above average, and the owners were pleasant. The wife was especially engaging and helpful. In summer, guests can enjoy the house's outdoor setting.
