Abigail's Hotel

From the moment we arrived on the weekend of May 24th, the welcome was lovely. The room was beautiful, the bed comfy, breakfast amazing, and customer service wonderful. It's got that classic old British charm with upgraded amenities, and anything you need is right there in the room. I'd especially recommend it for two couples looking for a romantic getaway. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. I was keen to come back in mid July, but we wanted to bring a friend and there wasn't a room for three people. I was disappointed, though I don't hold it against them. I guess when you're that good, you're fully booked. We'll definitely return.

Abigail's Hotel served the best breakfast we've had at any hotel anywhere. It's brought to your table, with something different and special each morning. Dorota took great care of us in the breakfast room, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. We also appreciated being able to leave our suitcases after check-out and pick them up later. Each room has its own character. Ours had a very comfortable king bed and a large claw-foot soaking tub/shower. One thing to know, the main building has no elevator for the three floors above ground level. We started our two-week holiday here and quickly realized the rest of the trip wouldn't live up to it!

We loved our three nights at Abigail's Hotel. It's a wonderful, almost 100-year-old mansion-style place, just over 10 minutes' easy walk from the harbour-front. Breakfast is included and served as a superb three-course meal. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the lovely library/sitting room and bar service for beer, wine, or coffee. We'd definitely stay again.

We spent 11 night here when we first came to Victoria in February of 2026, and the place has stayed with me. The beds were extremely comfortable, the staff delightful, and there's a lovely British, old-school charm. They serve tea and soup every day at 4:30.
