Admiral Hotel

Getting a free ticket voucher for Geneva's public transport, boats included, was the best part. The hotel is nicely placed near both the station and the lake, and there's a lift, which is convenient. The staff were just okay, not especially friendly. Noise was a real issue. People were shouting and talking in the street all night, and the hotel doors kept waking us up. My friend couldn't sleep. They should have soundproof windows and doors. Still, it's a good hotel overall.

I stayed here last year and came back this year, and Steve helped me on both visits. He's a real gentleman, attentive and thoughtful. The rooms were clean and tidy, and breakfast had a nice range of options. It's only about a five-minute walk to the train station. I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Geneva.

The service was excellent, quick and efficient, with a thorough cleaning every day. The rooms felt comfortable and pleasant, though their look is rather old-fashioned. There aren't any decent shops nearby, but the bus and train stations are close.

It wasn't quite the location I had pictured, though it turned out to be very central, and we could walk to lots of places. That was especially handy when travelling by bus to other cities. The hotel itself was comfortable and worth the price. Nothing fancy, just a good stay.
