Hotel Bernina Geneva

The room was too small and didn’t have proper storage, with no wardrobe. The refrigerator was tiny too, and its shallow interior made it almost unusable. The hotel itself is pleasant overall, very clean, and fully renovated. Staff were friendly and welcoming, from reception to the Portuguese housekeeping lady working on the morning of May 9. She was especially kind.

It’s easy to get around Geneva from here, whether you’re taking the train, bus, or walking. The staff are friendly and the room was clean and nice. I’d recommend it for a small family. The triple room had a queen bed and a single bed, which worked perfectly for bringing a child along.

Getting around the city is easy from this hotel, whether on foot or by tram, train, or bus. The airport train ride takes under 10 minutes, and you can walk across or under the road straight to the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We also got welcome drinks and chocolate in the "minibar", and the water bottles were replenished daily. Breakfast is continental. The dining room felt a bit snug, but we always found a seat. Reception staff were welcoming and ready to help whenever we needed anything.

The hotel is right opposite the station, but the soundproofing is good, so noise wasn’t an issue. Staff and service were fabulous, and the rooms were clean with plenty of space. There’s also a lovely glass lift inside the hotel. No bar on site, though there’s a popular one next door and plenty of places to eat within 10 minutes.
