The staff were very helpful, and the place was clean and comfortable. It’s handy for business trips, with Zurich airport about 20 minutes away. There’s also a station and all the amenities close by, so tourists would find it convenient too.

Cedric is a great Guest and really attentive to the little things. I’ve stayed here twice now, and it’s still my favorite place to stay in Zurich. Excellent place, would definitely recommend.

Booking.com confirmed that the bathroom details were wrong and cancelled the booking without charge. The listing said there’d be a private bathroom in the room, but it was actually shared. It also listed a kettle instead of a coffee machine. When I tried to sort out the room I’d booked, the communication was quite aggressive and there was no effort to accommodate me.

I find Cedric Burkhalter a strange character. He seems to enjoy bullying and threatening people on YouTube, then using alias accounts to give himself good ratings and suppress negative reviews. That doesn’t seem right to me, and I think Google should investigate.

Booking.com cancelled the reservation at no charge, but the hotel operator is now trying to collect the overnight costs through debt collection.
