INSIDE FIVE City Apartments

We got there a few hours before check-in and waited at the door for about ten minutes. A staff member eventually welcomed us and let us out of the cold while she got our room ready. I’d been nervous after reading the reviews, but our stay was great. The room had enough space for two adults and two teens, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. Guest washers and dryers are in the basement. It’s also close to HB and supermarkets.

After reading the reviews I was a bit worried, but it turned out fine. The room was decent and I slept pretty well, though you can hear the street and loud neighbors. The little kitchen has most things, including an oven, microwave, tiny fridge, kettle and even a coffee machine. They also leave kitchen towels and shower soap. I checked in at 8pm by WhatsApping the receptionist and sending my passport, then they sent me a code. Parking was tricky, with most spaces around here full and daytime parking paid. I found a spot two minutes away, an easy short walk. You get what you pay for, and I thought it was pretty decent.

The location is handy, close to HB, and the rooms are okay for what you pay. I sent all the requested information in advance, but when I arrived the key wasn’t ready. I had to call, and they checked and confirmed they already had everything on file. There were no towels in the room either. After two calls, someone brought them two hours later. I think I left something at the hotel and contacted them twice about it, but got no reply.

It was clean and comfortable, and really felt like home. The location was so convenient too, just three tram stops from the city center. I’ll definitely book it again.
