Fred Hotel Hauptbahnhof

The coffee stations were a highlight, with delicious coffee available on my floor or at reception any time of day. They also provide water and candy sweets, and I was welcomed kindly as soon as I arrived. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout the hotel, and I was very satisfied and impressed. It was my first visit to Zürich, and I booked through Booking. The hotel is stylish, clean, and comfortable, with an absolutely perfect location just a 2-3 minute walk from the main train station. Staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. I definitely recommend it to visitors.

We stayed for two nights in early October 2025. The hotel was in excellent condition, the rooms and bathrooms were wonderful, and the staff were excellent too. The location is perfect. I can’t think of anything negative to say. It’s a fantastic place to stay, and you won’t be disappointed.

We ended up in Zurich after missing our train to Genova, and this hotel made exploring the city easy. It’s close to the city center, Landesmuseum, the main station, and a Migros supermarket. Our room was simple and pleasant, with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly and knew their job. I’d happily book a night here again.

The room was fine, and the bathroom was clean and worked well. I also found the employees I met very friendly, and they spoke good English, which was helpful since I find Zurich’s local language hard to understand. The hotel is near the station and has digital keys and self check-in, though staff still need to be at reception to help guests. For the price, I expected more.
