The breakfast buffet was a real highlight, especially the fresh omelets and bread. Our room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable that it completely fixed my jet lag. The Home Hotel Zurich is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Getting around was easy too, with a tram stop right beside the hotel and the main train station about 15 minutes away. The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating, and the free laundry machines were super convenient. Absolutely wonderful stay, highly recommend.

Breakfast was fresh, varied, and enjoyable each morning. We also had a great stay thanks in large part to Zakariye at reception, who was kind and upbeat from the moment we arrived. He helped us extend our stay without hassle, gave us complimentary drinks, found parking outside the hotel, and helped with nearby short-term parking arrangements. That thoughtfulness and flexibility made a real difference. We recommend the hotel for its facilities, and especially for the people who make guests feel welcome.

The location worked really well, with the mall next door and an easy tram ride to Zurich's old town. Lou Lou restaurant was closed the night we were there, but food was available at the bar. The barman was friendly and professional when we stopped for a drink, and we chose to eat at one of the mall's restaurants. The Home Hotel has a warm, contemporary designer feel, with beautiful decor and furnishings. Our room was spacious and well equipped, and the complimentary mini bar was a real treat. We slept well on the comfortable bed and pillows. Guests can also use the sauna and gym for free. Zurich is a beautiful city and worth visiting, and this was a great place to stay.

The hotel is beside a very nice mall and has easy transport access. The bar serves lots of good cocktails, plus a solid scotch selection and several bourbons. My only reason for holding back a fifth star is the air conditioning. It was hot in the bar, and the room wouldn't cool below 23°C because the fan barely moved any air. I guess that's normal in Europe, since it seems to be that way everywhere.

We got a one-bedroom upgrade, which was a great start to our vacation after a long trip across country and ocean. As a Bonvoy Ambassador, I appreciated that. The room had two bathrooms, a comfortable living area, a king bed, and blackout curtains that made it completely dark and easy to rest in. The location was great and we could walk to a lot of places. We didn't get to try the spa or sauna, though I wish we had. We had a great stay at The Home Hotel and would highly recommend it as a place to land.
