Beepackers - Hostel

Really good spot.

The location took some finding. Head to the small junction by The One, then look uphill on the left side of the road. The Ctrip directions saying "5th Floor, Champagne House, 44-46 Carnarvon Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, near Kimberley Road" are very misleading. The important part is at the beginning: when we first searched, we turned from Nathan Road onto Kimberley Road, found Champagne House quickly, and went up to the fifth floor, but it wasn't there. We carried on to Carnarvon Road and then spotted 44-46. The map already showed our shop, BEEPACKERS, at least six months before this review, judging by the date. I foolishly added it again, but my address is more accurate. I have to admit I got number 40 wrong before, though. It should be 44-46. In the living room there's a kettle, computer, Wi-Fi, coffee maker, toaster (I didn't see anyone use it), and refrigerator. The kitchen has a faucet, washing machine and laundry detergent. In the bathroom you'll find a sit-down toilet, hot water, shower gel, shampoo and a faucet, plus a bath towel for each person. We had a quadruple room, and I didn't see any others. The window air conditioner was extremely noisy. There was an outlet to charge devices, but no USB ports, so adapters weren't needed. Everyone got their own key to lock the room.

Self check-in was easy, and the place was comfortable and conveniently located. It's small, but has Wi-Fi and a laptop. You can plug in a camera card or USB drive to back up travel photos and upload them online. I was traveling alone for the first time and felt I'd picked the right backpacker spot.
