Jungle Drake

This is a very basic bungalow setup, and the price covers the basic things you’d need for a weekend or week away. Bring your food to cook in the shared kitchen. If you’re a bird watcher, head past the gate. Depending on the time of day, parrots and toucans can wake you up as they eat papayas from the tree. Hummingbirds, hawks, finches, culleos, and red macaws are just a click away. The beach is about a 15-minute walk, the airport around five Km from the house, and Drake village about 40 minutes away. Driving takes time because the roads aren’t paved. I could rate this humble place five stars or one, but you’ll have to experience it yourself. Do your homework before visiting this hidden gem in the Costa Rican jungle.
