The food was delicious, and I’ve never had soups this good. The owner is really friendly and seems like just the right person for the job. It’s a lovely place to get some peace and quiet. Thanks, I recommend it, and we’ll definitely return.

The people looking after the cottage deserve special thanks, especially the host, Mr. Marek. He’s friendly, always smiling, helpful, and has a great sense of humor. The place is clean and cozy, with a wonderful atmosphere, and the area is quiet. Bike trails start right nearby, and it looks just like the photos. I enjoyed it so much that I’ll make sure to stop at Pension Chalupa Podlesí on my next cycling trip to the Czech Republic 🚵🏻♂️, not just for a beer but for that unforgettable, delicious chicken soup too 🍜🫶😍

It’s close to the cross-country ski trails, and the cottage is set in a genuinely quiet spot, away from the main road so passing cars aren’t audible. The owner is friendly and willing to help. Home cooking is really excellent, and you can order a two-course dinner with your stay. Breakfast is included and decent. My room was warm and cozy, with a bathroom and comfortable mattress. There’s private parking right beside the cottage, and the price feels very fair for the quality. 100%, highly recommended.

We picked this guesthouse at random and ended up having a great experience. The owner gave us a warm welcome, the room was cozy, and the food was excellent, especially the half board. Thanks for everything. I recommend it and would gladly return.
