Apartment Schulz

The room was very clean, and so was the shared toilet. The keeper was friendly. Since this isn't a hotel, you have to tell the keeper your arrival time two days ahead, and check-in after 6pm is absolutely not possible. If you're coming from the airport, make sure you can catch the 16:58 FEX train or you won't make it in time. There's a 100€ deposit, refunded within a week as long as you leave the room clean.

Just a terrible stay. The owner was extremely greedy and rude, charging extra for everything. Check-in times were strict, with no flexibility for delayed flights or anything like that. The shared bathroom shower only gave three minutes of hot water. Good luck with that. I absolutely don't recommend this place. There are so many better options around the city for the same price or a little more.

The apartment was tidy and very clean, but the host was not hospitable at all. Check-in had to be before 17:00, even though the website let us enter 24:00. The time window was far too strict, and even a small delay could leave you outside with nowhere to stay. The shower only gave warm water for three minutes. Although several rooms shared the public areas, we were randomly blamed and threatened with a fine over minor damage to a poster in the shared kitchen. We had nothing to do with it, and there was no proof that we did. The owner's way of communicating felt very inhospitable. Getting our deposit back was difficult, even though we carefully followed all the apartment's many strict rules. The apartment itself is fine, but I can't recommend it because of the host.

The manager only seems to come in for a very short part of the day, so getting your room depends on when they decide to show up. If that timing doesn't work for you, they keep your money. The manager came across as both lazy and greedy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
