Kids will have a lot of fun here. It's not very big, which is great, though it may be a little expensive. You can't watch big movies either.

The theater itself is run down and seriously understaffed. There was just one person handling ticket sales, food, and drinks. Their website also sets off my virus protection, and it lists tickets for viewings that don't actually exist. If it weren't so close, I wouldn't recommend going here.

Kino Toni & Tonio is at Antonplatz in Berlin's weissensee district, with easy bus and tram connections. Its program is mainly German and European films, and it hosts a lot of film festivals. The theater has received the Cinema Program Prize for many years.

A lovely fit if you're after that cozy, old-school cinema experience.

A cozy, old-fashioned cinema. The films are mostly, or maybe all, in German, with dubbing.
