The room was much better than I expected, and the staff were really courteous. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The brick ceilings kept noise from the room above from coming through, but hallway sounds were clear, almost as if the door were open. I’d definitely recommend it.

It feels more like a hostel than a hotel. There’s no WiFi in the rooms, and each device needs its own special code every time you connect. Breakfast had very few choices and not much food. You can hear every little noise across the floor because the rooms aren’t soundproof. The shower was awkward to use, and towels cost 3.50 Eur.

The front desk service was tremendously helpful, and the place was very clean. My room was large and the bed was comfortable. It’s very close to both the U-Bahn and S-Bahn, with plenty of shopping, bats, and restaurants in the neighborhood. Berlin’s best-kept secret?

It’s quiet, with good-sized rooms that have bathrooms. The continental breakfast was quite nice, and the location is good, close to S- and U-Bahn stations and about ten minutes from Kreuzberg. Recommended!
