Leonardo Hotel Frankfurt City Center

The room was comfortable, and the location is great, close to Frankfurt Main Station and within walking distance of lots of good restaurants. I booked two nights, but there was no hot water for my morning shower, which was disappointing. The rate was almost €100 per night because of the Heimtextil show.

I stayed for a few days during the Frankfurt Book Fair, so I can’t speak to the usual prices. Hotels all charge about double during those events. This is a good budget option: clean and tidy, with modern furniture, a coffee maker in the room, and a few complimentary drinks, which I appreciated. There’s no fridge, though. It’s right across from the railway station and a pleasant 20-minute walk from the Fair. The area isn’t the best, but it’s busy all the time, with lots of convenience shops and kebab places, so I felt safe enough. The staff were friendly, extremely helpful, and spoke excellent English.

Ms. Roma was especially kind, chatting with us and looking after our luggage while we went for an hour-long stroll around the city before heading home. She helped us even as we were checking out, and we had a lovely conversation. All the receptionists were friendly and kind. The room was cozy, clean, and nice, and the hotel is right across from the main station, with the tram stop really close too. I didn’t expect to have a balcony. The view was just buildings, but that was okay. We had a great stay, and everything else was perfect. To the hotel staff, especially Ms. Roma, Maraming Salamat po kababayan. Hope to see you soon. The room was clean and at the back of the hotel, on a busy street lined with shops, restaurants, and a Latin dance club. If you don’t mind hearing the music at night, it’s a good place to stay. The service was friendly, and the location is convenient for the train station. I met the friendly owner, and you can go there to enjoy or dance to the live music. The old city center, “Römer,” and many museums are close by. “Mainskade” is a beautiful walk, with a look at the river from the “Eisener Brücke”!
