Holiday Inn - the niu, Keg Hamburg Ost by IHG

I'd rate my stay 4.5 out of 5. The comfortable accommodations and especially the staff left me with overwhelmingly positive impressions. I can enthusiastically recommend the hotel to others visiting the area. The team were professional, personable, and attentive. Zahra, Omid and Gholab went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, showing the warm hospitality and friendliness that made an ordinary hotel stay memorable.

We won't be back. The rooms were tiny and completely worn out, with dirty walls, and the bathroom had a strange smell that we had to disinfect with alcohol. The hotel itself felt cold and had no pleasant atmosphere. The location was okay, with everything we needed nearby and quick access to the city. But the place didn't seem well managed. One female receptionist showed no reaction and was neither friendly nor helpful, like she simply didn't care. The other men at reception were nicer, as was the young man who cleaned the room. I never actually got to stay. I asked for a room with two single beds, but they flatly refused to respond properly. Every message, whatever the channel, got an automated reply with no follow-up. I'd forgotten how poor Holiday Inn's customer service was.

The breakfast service was perfect, and Zahra, Omid and Golab were so kind and nice. There were three of us, though, with one double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was broken and shifted while we were sleeping, so we weren't comfortable.
