Numa Hamburg St Georg

The rooms are equipped for some light cooking, which was especially useful during our winter stay. The neighborhood is fairly quiet despite being close to the center, with a park and two big grocery stores nearby. The location is very good, just one tram stop from the Main Train station.

The room was fine, and the location worked well. Breakfast was simple but good enough for a short stay. My only issue was the pillow, which was too big and high for my neck. I can still recommend this hotel.

The location made getting around Hamburg easy, with bus and train stations nearby. I also liked the lobby, where there are comfortable seats and free water, tea, and coffee. We only found out on our last day that guests can use a gym and pool in another building about 2 km away. Nice to have, though not very convenient. Our first room needed more cleaning. There were rice grains by the floor and stove, plus dirty fingerprints on the white doors, walls, and tables. We told the online team and they offered us a cleaner room. In it, we had the essentials: bathroom supplies, fresh white towels, clean sheets, complimentary water, tea and coffee, and a few small welcome gifts. Those were a thoughtful touch. Despite the rough start, we enjoyed the stay and I’d be happy to try another Numa property in a different city or country.

We could leave our bags in lockers after checkout, which gave us time to explore before our flight. Check-in was smooth, the room was very clean, and the building felt secure. Everything about our stay went well.
