Wetterstein

The underground made this budget hotel on the outskirts easy enough to get around from, even though it's a bit farther out than ideal. The room was clean, and the basic bar was fine. It did the job for our trip, was fairly quiet, and I'd likely stay again if I were in the area.

The beds were soft, cozy, and comfortable, but the Twin Separate Bed room felt incredibly cramped for two people, though probably fine for one. We also had no mini-fridge for drinks during our three-night stay. At check-in we were given room cards that hadn't been validated, so we had to go back to reception when they wouldn't open the door. It seemed like an honest mistake, but guests shouldn't have to make that extra trip. Our room was 134. Wetterstein hotel was acceptable, I think.

The receptionists were really friendly, and thanked me for checking in online quickly. They also explained the breakfast option. I liked the idea of getting a bottle of beer if you skip a day's cleaning. It's a nice way to save resources when you don't need the room cleaned. The rooms were clean, simply designed, and a little small, just as the website description had led me to expect. 😊

The rooms were spotless, fresh, and well cared for, and the location was convenient. Staff were helpful too. A comfortable stay for a fair price in the area.
