The garden view gave the spacious, well-equipped apartment a peaceful feel, even though it’s in the city, and everything is within walking distance. I’m here long term during a business transition, and Max at reception made a real difference. Even during a very busy stretch, he personally went through the extension options with me and found a practical arrangement that meant very few room changes. He knows the property, stays professional and calm, and focuses on finding solutions. Thanks to the team, especially Max, for making my stay comfortable and smooth.

I couldn’t sleep at all because the automatic window was malfunctioning, opening and closing by itself and making constant disruptive noise. Other parts of the room didn’t work well either. The coffee machine was broken, apparently after earlier guests had left it too close to the stove, and the outlets were inconveniently far from both the desk and kitchenette. The blackout curtains covered only part of the windows, so I couldn’t properly darken the room. Between losing a night’s rest and the poor room functionality, this was a terrible stay at Brera Serviced Apartments München. I can’t recommend it.

The price worked out very well for our group of three, and our host Somaya was friendly. The location was handy for the metro, bus and tram. Sleeping, though, was the main issue: the duvet wasn’t wide enough to cover two people, so I ended up putting on my overcoat in the middle of the night to stay covered. The pillows were small and thin. I’d brought my inflatable one based on past experience, but larger spare pillows in the room would be a good idea. There were no luggage racks, which I think travelers need, and the room also lacked bedside reading lamps and enough coat hangers. A toaster in the kitchen and a few more water glasses would have helped too.

The room was cold because the thermostat batteries had run out, so we couldn’t turn the heat on. There were also cleanliness problems: the bathroom wasn’t very clean and had mold stains around the edges, while the sheets and pillow had stains that looked like blood, as shown in my photos. On the plus side, the room was spacious, with plenty of room to move around, and self check-in was easy and fairly quick.
