Antares

We loved our stay, and I want to thank the staff for everything ❤️ The hotel is in a calm spot away from the crowds, and it was peaceful even during Oktoberfest. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The gentleman at breakfast, who I think was the head waiter, was especially thoughtful, checking often if we needed anything and offering to top up our coffee.

Breakfast was included, simple but filling, and the coffee was surprisingly good. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the hotel being full, and they kindly kept my luggage for a few hours after checkout. I also found a complimentary bottle of Augustiner-Bräu Oktoberfestbier in my room, a small, thoughtful festive touch. I stayed at Hotel Antares München during the busy Oktoberfest period. The location made getting around easy, with a short walk or subway ride to both the Old Town and the central station. My single room was compact and a little dated, but clean and well kept. There was no air conditioning, though it was comfortable enough for one person, and the small bed was mostly comfortable. Good value in a central location, and I’d consider staying again.

The rooms are quite small, and there aren’t any amenities, so keep that in mind. The recent remodeling, helpful staff, and breakfast were good, and it’s conveniently located in the city center. Fair value for the money.

The breakfast was okay, and the kitchen staff were very nice, but there wasn’t much food to choose from. The rooms were too small, the beds uncomfortable, and the carpets very dirty. If you’re allergic to dust, you might not be able to stay even two days. Parking was impossible for us. The garage needs a car that can fit two people, and a regular car won’t fit in the car lift. If your car weighs more than 2500 kg, the lift can get stuck. This hotel isn’t suitable if you need those things.
