Citadines Arnulfpark Munich

The rooms are very spacious and the location is fine, but the cleaning wasn't up to standard. There was dust, stains and hair in the room, and the bathroom seemed to have its own ecosystem. Black mold covered the shower door and tiles. For the money, it's hard to justify showering in fungus.

The room had enough space and felt nice. It was great to be able to help yourself to water, tea and coffee at any time. But it could get really noisy from trams and cars outside, even though we asked for a quiet room. All the pillows were the same size, and they said there were no lower ones available. There was no body lotion or anything like that in the bathroom either. I also noticed a lot of dust, even on surfaces like the bedside table. A general clean should be done at least once every few months.

The room had a contemporary feel, and the lounge was large enough for lots of guests to relax. Coffee and tea were available in the house, and breakfast cost extra. The place was nicely renovated, and the tram stops right nearby. The main train station looked close on the map, but it was still an 18-minute walk with no real shortcut; Marienplatz was 30 minutes away. The air conditioning rumbled and the air felt stuffy, so I couldn't rest very well. I had the window open facing the apartments across the way, but there was no traffic noise.

Getting around was easy, with the tram right beside the building, Netto about a 4-minute walk away, and the S-Bahn roughly 8-9 minutes on foot. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Breakfast was good, the shared areas were clean, and the staff were polite and helpful.
