Holiday Inn Munich - Leuchtenbergring

The best part of dinner was the mango coconut soup with grilled shrimp. The schnitzel and fries were okay. Breakfast service was really friendly too, especially an older waiter who seemed to enjoy bringing some cheer to everyone. The room was fine and had a large panoramic window overlooking Leuchtenbergring, though it wasn't very big. The bathroom had no hair conditioner or skin moisturizer. Cleanliness was a letdown: the toilet wasn't clean, and there were dust bunnies and cracker crumbs on the floor. They still charged a 30 euros cleaning fee for my assistance dog. My dog got dirtier on their floors, while the floors probably got cleaner, but I paid the fee anyway. I checked in for one night in the first week of Dezember, and the hotel seemed pretty full. Before the 11 am check-out, the cleaning person kept asking to come in while I was out for a walk. Then we waited around the room for me to leave, which was a little stressful.

The loyalty program has real benefits, and the rooms are clean. Staff are always available to help, and breakfast is good. Since cleaning is only done on request, though, I was surprised to find a fresh water bottle in my room on a day I hadn't asked for service. Someone must have entered when they weren't supposed to. The temperature was difficult to control, with the room getting too hot, especially the bathroom. Maintenance could also be more attentive. When a room is cleaned, toilet paper should be restocked along with the towels and linens.

The Wi-Fi didn't work during my stay, which was inconvenient. Otherwise, I had a pleasant visit. My room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to unwind after a long day, and breakfast offered a broad range of fresh, tasty food.

I arrived on time to collect my breakfast package from the "To Good to Go" app, but was told collection ended at 10:30 AM, even though the app said 10:45 AM. I pointed out the difference and got nowhere. They said it had been like that for 6-7 months, and nobody apologized. Whoever is responsible shouldn't leave people dealing with this for so long. It's shameful to be so careless and then speak with such confidence. People's time matters, and I condemn this kind of service.
