MOMA1890 Boutique Hotel

We stayed a week ago, 9/2025, and had a fabulous time. The hotel is very clean, with spacious rooms, a powerful shower and plenty of hot water. The bed was soft but still had some firmness to it, and the pillows were plush. The staff were amazing and super helpful. It’s near all the sights, but far enough away that you feel part of city life instead of tourist life. Free snacks and drinks are available throughout the day, which is great. The windows open, too. It’s an old building with a rich history, and it feels quiet and comfortable. With the windows open you can hear the trolley, but that’s expected in a city. Just a wonderful hotel.

The staff made us feel welcome, especially Kateryna, who was so friendly and helpful. Everyone we met, including the cleaning team, greeted us with a smile. We also liked being able to take as many snacks and soft drinks as we wanted from the common room, and the beers were just €1. Our room at Moma 1890 was quiet and spotless, and the bed was so comfortable that getting up in the morning was hard. We had a lovely stay this week, and if we're back in Munich, we'd book here again.

Getting around was easy, with a subway entrance right outside and trains and trams going all over. The staff were lovely and helpful, with restaurant recommendations already printed out. They also explained public transport and sold us tickets at reception. The hotel is beautifully presented and in a great spot. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a big bathroom and shower, windows that opened fully, and heating and air conditioning that were easy to use. The bed was enormous and the pillows were great. We'd definitely stay again.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and breakfast was good. Moma 1890 was clean and elegant throughout. Our room was cleaned every day, and we could get fresh towels whenever we needed them. We had a fantastic stay and can confidently recommend the hotel.
