Parkhotel Rothof

Breakfast was a letdown, with few choices and slow refills. I found out omelettes were available only by guessing, and mine somehow came out both undercooked and overcooked. The room was disappointing too. My partner had booked a larger one, but I wasn't given that on arrival. I can't say what the staff assumed, so fair enough. The bathroom had just two towels, one of them a face towel, and there was only one pillow on the bed. For heat, I could plug in the radiator or use the lamp, but not both. All those little things added up and made the trip less enjoyable. Given that, my rating is fairly generous.

The reception team made my week at the Rothof easy, they were kind and really helpful. I had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. Thanks so much, I'd happily recommend it.

We were there on holiday in Munich, and the location worked really well, about a 10-minute walk from a subway stop. The rooms were top-notch and the buffet breakfast was great. We arrived on Sun May 4th with a special request, and the staff took care of it right away, treating us with friendliness and respect. They were very accommodating.

The bed was comfortable and the gardens were beautiful, but there were too many downsides for me to recommend this place. The location felt odd, service was minimal, and the decor looked dated. We paid 19 euros for parking in a residential area despite plenty of street parking. The balcony was pleasant to have, though old, rotting, and in need of cleaning or replacement. The room wasn't cheap, yet there was no fan to borrow in the heat and no coffee in the room. Those were the worst parts of the stay.
