Pension Locarno

The street tram's vibrations came through pretty often, though it wasn't a big issue. I had to share the toilet, but that was fine, and the room was a great deal for the money. It also had a fridge, kettle and desk, which was handy. The rooms are small, though.

The location was amazing, about a 20 minute walk to oktoberfest. The room was meager, as expected, but the mattresses were so thin that sleeping was hard. At the front desk, the person kept helping other people while getting us settled. Maybe that's normal in Germany, but I was tired and just wanted to get to my room. Twice we had to shoo a couple of homeless people from our doorstep to get into the building. I've traveled a lot and I'm a big guy, so it wasn't a big deal for me.

We stayed for one night in September, my family and I. The room was basic and affordable, with four beds, and the shared bathroom was clean. The location was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I only realized after leaving Munich that I'd forgotten an expensive mouth brace in the shared bathroom. They found it, and P. Hadian kindly shipped it back to me in Canada. That's what I call service. Thank you so much🥰🤗

The beds were clean, but they made horrible noises with every movement. I couldn't sleep all night because a German girl was drunk and screaming outside my room. If you want a comfortable night's sleep and your own toilet, you'd be better off looking elsewhere. This is only worth it if saving money is your main concern.
