Being close to the city center and main street made it easy to find plenty to explore. The staff were polite and helpful, and I liked the hotel's focus on being environmentally friendly. Breakfast had lots of choice, from fresh fruit, yoghurts with toppings and sandwiches to ham, cheeses, hot food, juices and dessert. My room and bathroom were clean and well kept. The bathroom was roomy, with a tub and hair dryer, plus shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion, a nice surprise. Not every room has a tub, though; most have showers. I stayed for a weekend and had two large beds, a desk, two armchairs, a TV, a mini fridge and lots of storage. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 is the poor sound insulation in the windows. Even on the fourth floor, loud traffic came through at night.

The fridge was empty, and tea and coffee in the room would've been useful. I think they may sell snacks, tea and coffee at reception, though. The staff were pleasant and friendly, the location was great, and breakfast was good.

I had a great stay overall, but after three months there, the breakfast menu never changed. It could use some different food, maybe Asian options. The Wi-Fi needs improvement too.

The building makes an impression and the location is great, but the rooms look a bit worn. The fourth-floor carpets seem due for replacement since they don't look very clean. Our Kempowski suite had a questionable layout, with the bed right in the middle. In 2025, you'd expect a Smart TV with Wi-Fi and YouTube as standard.

A really good breakfast, comfortable beds, and a town-center location made this a nice stay. Even with that central spot, it was quiet at night. The staff were friendly, arrival was easy, and the rooms were clean and a good size. Mine had a TV and a fridge, which was perfect, plus a good shower.
