The restaurant’s outdoor garden seating is great for unwinding after a long day at the office. The area is quiet, and the beds are comfortable, but the bedrooms look a little dated and could use a refresh. The WiFi is very weak, so don’t count on it.

Our car club group of 14 went there for dinner, and it was wonderful. Many of us ordered schnitzel. The batter was light and fluffy, and the meat was tenderized just enough without being pounded so thin that it dried out. Highly recommended.

It’s a peaceful, almost idyllic setting, with spacious rooms and committed staff. I didn’t get to try the restaurant, but I enjoyed having coffee on the terrace. During my stay, I saw and heard more wild animals outside than cars or people, which is always a plus. There’s a bus stop a short walk away, and the Altstadt is about 15 minutes away.

We brought our dog and had a lovely room with a small terrace. Breakfast was tasty the next morning, and the whole stay was perfect for us. We’ll definitely stay there again if we’re in the region.

When we got back to the hotel after a walk following dinner, it was 21:45. We asked the restaurant staff for a beer, but were told it was unavailable. We then asked about wine, but the restaurant waiter didn’t seem willing to serve us because they were closing at 22:00. So we left. I thought the staff’s response was very unreasonable. Best regards, Joachim
