We’ve stayed here twice. The first room was lovely, clean, and seemed fairly new. On the second visit, our room was small, dusty, and very old. Breakfast was okay, just standard, and on both mornings it opened 10-15 minutes late. People were left waiting outside in the cold, with no apology or explanation. There are no key cards, just a large physical key. When my husband came back late one night, he had to wait a while for someone to open the hotel entrance. And the Wi-Fi is not free.

The rooms are clean, reception has plenty of staff, and there’s a small bar and restaurant in the building. It’s convenient if you have business at the university, but there isn’t much else to recommend it. The building feels bland and characterless, which makes the hotel rather sterile.

The restaurant serves great food, and its outdoor seating area is nice. Prices are more affordable than at most nearby hotels, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and simple, with broadband internet. It’s a handy choice for University of Stuttgart visitors, about five minutes on foot from both the university and an underground station. The city center is around a 15-minute underground ride away. Definitely recommended.

Breakfast was very good, with lots to choose from, including fresh bread, salmon, and dairy products. The room itself was decent, nothing special, with a clean and proper bathroom and shower. Free Wi-Fi wasn’t included. I paid 5,- for a 24-hour access code.

The University train station is just a couple of minutes away on foot, and it’s a short S-Bahn ride to the airport. The rooms are bright and clean, and breakfast was delicious with just about every kind of breakfast food. Great value and convenience compared with Air B&B.
