Best Western Hotel Wiesbaden

The breakfast hours are great, especially on weekends when they serve until 12, and the German bread selection, including bretzel bread, won me over again. There were hot options like American pancakes, several kinds of eggs, sausage and bacon, along with plenty of cold sandwich items. My wife and I stayed four nights for a conference, and I was very happy with the organizers' recommendation, even though I hadn't chosen the hotel myself. It's modern, friendly and dependable. Our room had plenty of natural light from full-height windows, good bedding, and a long bench desk with chairs for working. There were plenty of well-placed, key-card-activated outlets. The room was spacious enough, and the shower and loo were fine. Take the posted hot-water warnings seriously, it really is very hot. There's no minibar or fridge, but there's a coin-operated vending machine on level -1 and a reasonably priced bar. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the main train station, with step-free access for wheelchairs and wheeled bags, and about 15 minutes on foot to the historical center and Cathedral at a brisk pace. Buses are another option. I'd definitely stay again if I'm in Wiesbaden.

We got there at 0940 and could check in early at no extra charge. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were visiting our son, who's stationed at the nearby Army base, and the train close by made it easy to visit other places in Germany. The hotel is two blocks from Wiesbaden Main train station, with top-notch service and the best hotel breakfast I've had, fresh food and a full breakfast. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfast is great, and the kitchen staff are Fantastic. The cleaning staff are Awesome too, and the price is reasonable. But they seem to have forgotten about the clientele. There's no bellboy, no Aperol after I mentioned it three days ago, and the plastic top of the shower head is still broken two days after I reported it. The water in my room was old and hadn't been replaced on the third day of cleaning. I'd call the place average... though Moritz & Laufan are awesome 🤘

There was underground parking, plus outdoor parking for taller vehicles. The only issue was the bathroom glasses, which were in poor shape. The blue ones had cracks, as shown in the photos. Still, it was a great stay. Thanks!
