Camel Dive Club & Boutique Hotel

Camel Dive Club made learning to dive feel easy from beginning to end. I was a first-time diver and just completed the SSI Open Water course. Before leaving home, I got excellent, responsive communication by email and WhatsApp, so planning was stress-free. They sent the course materials in advance, which let me study at my own pace and focus on diving during the three days on-site. They arranged hotel transfers, and the team was friendly and professional from the moment I arrived. Fadi taught me one-to-one. He was patient, encouraging, a great guy, and an excellent instructor. He put me at ease and turned what might have been daunting into something thoroughly enjoyable. I finished feeling confident and capable. I can’t wait to return and do my first boat dive with them!

The whole place was spotless and fresh, and the heated pool gave us somewhere to cool down and relax. It’s right in the centre of Nama Bay, a short walk from the beach, with Pomodoro restaurant next door. They serve homemade pasta, pizza, and delicious Bruschetta 😀 We booked an Open water diving course for our 16 year old daughter. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and her instructor Hanna looked after her so well. Hanna is very knowledgeable and gave advice and support whenever needed. Highly recommended.

At the dive centre, the staff and instructors were very supportive when I needed help with my chronic back issue, setting up gear and getting in and out of the water. They gave me useful tips and really looked after me. The instructors were professional and fun, group sizes were reasonable, the boat was clean, the equipment well organized, and the dive sites were well chosen. Lunch on board was good, though repetitive after several days. My BCD was a little worn but worked fine. When I had trouble with my ear, the centre quickly arranged a doctor and drove me there. I stayed 9 nights at Camel Dive Club & Hotel and spent 5 days diving, which worked perfectly together. The hotel was very clean, with maintained outdoor areas and spacious, tidy rooms. The interior was a bit dated and the mattress quite firm, but neither ruined the stay. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant's pizza was excellent, though a bit pricier than nearby places. I can recommend both the hotel and dive centre.

The diving centre was organized, safe, professional, and fun, and had its own boat. The hotel felt secure, clean, and tidy, and the food was amazing without excess or waste. You order breakfast online, and it’s ready the next morning with plenty of choices. Though it’s on a central street, double windows throughout keep things quiet. I had a wonderfully relaxing time!
