Estudiotel Alicante

The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, and the location is great. But the room felt worn out, with an awful mattress and just one tiny, flat pillow per person. There’s no mini fridge. We heard people in other rooms through the night, along with engines revving in the street, so the sound insulation wasn’t good.

We’d be glad to stay at Estudiotel again someday. It’s very well placed for both tram and bus services.

The first night was lovely. I had booked one day in a room on the top floor with a wonderful view, and everything seemed beautiful. Because of personal circumstances, I changed rooms the next day and booked for a week. That turned out to be a terrible decision. The hotel was very dirty, the bathroom old and worn, the room smelled unpleasant, and the covers weren’t good. There were cockroaches too. I wasn’t comfortable at all, and the price didn’t match the room’s quality.

We stayed three nights in February and would come back. It’s a convenient, no-frills hotel right in central Alicante, with a decent clean room and bathroom, good wifi, a balcony, sound-insulated ceiling, and basic cooking facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the usual buffet, served from 8 to 11. We booked through Agoda, which was cheaper than using the hotel’s own system.
