The staff were thoughtful and flexible. I arrived at 9.30am, exhausted and jet-lagged after a long intercontinental flight from Asia. The gentleman at reception let me check in at 10am at no extra cost because the room was ready. I was very grateful to get some rest before exploring on my first day. I also felt very safe walking around the area, even after 10 PM, which mattered as a solo female traveler who'd been worried about visiting Barcelona. The hotel sits just off Passeig de Gracia, in one of the safest areas, surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafes. Diagonal metro station and a bus stop are right across the road. I like walking and managed to reach Sagrada Familia and El Born on foot. The Gaudi houses, Casa Mila and Casa Battlo, are close too. The room was thoughtfully laid out, with several places to sit, including a long bench, an armchair, and a desk with a chair. Some furniture was a little worn, but everything was clean and worked fine. I hadn't booked breakfast, but tried it one morning out of curiosity. The jamon was so delicious that I came back for breakfast a second time. The location is unbeatable, and I'd definitely recommend this hotel. If I return to Barcelona, I'd seriously consider staying again and would recommend it to family and friends without hesitation.

The staff were really pleasant, and it was nice to have complimentary tea and coffee available until 10 pm. We didn't eat at the hotel, though the restaurant looked inviting. Our room felt modern, while the outside of the building kept its authentic character. The location made it easy to get around, with everything close by and a metro station nearby, but the area wasn't noisy. We'd happily stay here again when we return to Barcelona.

The breakfast was great, and the staff were amazing. Our suite felt cramped for four adults sharing one bathroom, so they quickly arranged two separate rooms and moved our luggage without disrupting our day. They also booked a 4 am taxi to the airport and helped with all our questions. Great location, and we'd definitely stay again.

Everyone on staff was so sweet and helpful, and they even gave us roses! We stayed four nights over Easter weekend and Sant Jordi, with a beautiful view of passieg de gràcia. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, the AC worked well, and housekeeping left little treats each day. Shops and cafes are everywhere around this perfect location.

I stayed six nights in April after a cruise. Getting around was easy, with the metro close by and plenty of places within walking distance. My room had everything I needed and was wonderful. There were an elevator and ramps all the way to it, so I didn't have to carry my bags up stairs. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. I'd recommend it.
